Our Team:

At Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, we prioritize understanding our consumers and leverage Real-World Evidence (RWE) to bring our evidence closer to them. As the Real-World & Consumer Evidence Lead, North America, you'll report to the Head of RWE, Behavioral Science, and Data Platforms.

You'll develop strategic RWE roadmaps for the North America and Rx-to-OTC Switch teams, collaborating cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, R&D, and Commercialto translate business needs into evidence generation strategies. Also, simplify complex science into consumer-friendly content aligned with brand strategy and establish partnerships across the NA region.

We are seeking a strategic leader who understands real-world and behavioral study methodologies, recognizing their versatility and limitations in meeting diverse requirements.

Your experience in crafting strategic roadmaps integrating consumer methodologies with an understanding of consumer evidence, FDA regulations, and real-world evidence adoption, including Rx to OTC Switches and NDA regulations, is valuable.

Also, your effective communication, ability to simplify complex science, and adaptability in diverse international settings with internal and external partners are valuable.

Main responsibilities:

The RWE Engagement Lead will:

  • Lead strategic planning for real-world studies, identifying data gaps and aligning with medical and business priorities.

  • Independently execute strategic roadmaps for Switches and NA, ensuring timely, budget-friendly delivery aligned with brand strategies.

  • Act as the main point of contact for RWE expertise internally and externally, including strategic advice and engagements with regulatory authorities, to promote RWE in Consumer Healthcare in NA and globally.

  • Develop strategic relationships with partners across the NA region, including consumer-friendly data sources and strategies for internal and external audiences.

About You

Experience:

  • Expertise in developing strategic, evidence-based roadmaps based on relevant real world and behavioral science methodologies, including basic epidemiological methods, retrospective studies (administrative claims, EMR, patient registry), prospective observational study design, as well as ethnographic, usage, and other behaviorally focused methodologies.

  • Previous experience engaging with FDA and other health authorities on RWE/Behavioral Science results and/or methodologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership at a senior level and excellent networking, influencing, and communication skills.

  • Experience in Consumer Healthcare (CHC), preferred

Soft skills:

  • Strategic mindset, self-driven

Technical skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products required;

  • R, SAS is a plus

Education:

  • Advanced science degree (MD, PhD, MSc, MPH) in relevant health or science discipline.

Languages:

  • Fluent spoken and written English
