About the job

Our Team:

You will be part of the Franchise and Product Strategy Department. This organization’s mission is to maximize value for patients, society, and Sanofi, by creating innovative global strategies, aligning the organization, and driving execution. 

This is a highly strategic role, responsible for a global team based in Lyon, France.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies thanks to a strong understanding of customers’ insights, markets, and epidemiological trends.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive global cross functional strategies and plans for the portfolio.
  • Coordinate the Strategic Portfolio, Brand Management & Lifecycle management.
  • Develop Brand identity & positioning for next generation vaccines.
  • Act as a strong Leader managing Flu Global Brand Teams (Global Brand Managers and Market Leads) to generate evidence to support value proposition.
  • Identify & communicate evolving needs for product optimization/rationalization.
  • Demonstrate ownership and execute personal development plan by proactively engaging in efforts to improve job performance, individually and for the Global Brand Team

About you

As the Global Brand Lead,

  • You are a highly experienced and successful Marketeer who has gained experiences in creating paradigm changes with best-in-class marketing.
  • You have a strong understanding of the health system including value and access, clinical and patient advocacy.
  • You are passionate about building brands, creating compelling campaigns and calls to action.
  • You have a passion for insights, a curiosity to understand the HCP and the patient journey. 
  • You have moved past traditional pharma marketing and have embraced new, innovative, disruptive techniques to create change in new therapy areas.

  • Experience:
    • Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in Regional or Global Commercial Operations functions (including Marketing), team and or project management.
    • Track record in operational customer facing experience and significant knowledge about all marketing and commercial topics such as markets, customer segmentation, payer systems and networks, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, market research, customer development, Strategic planning process, Finance.

  • Soft and technical skills:
    • Strong leadership with great communication and relationship building skills.
    • Ability to challenge status quo, being a catalyst / influencer for problem solving, be outcome oriented.

  • Education: Degree in Scientific background and/or business education MBA or specialization in marketing
