Responsibilities

The Material Handler II is part of the Supply Chain Department at Ridgefield, NJ.

This role is responsible for:

  • Ships, receives, stores and distributes materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

  • Records movement of incoming and outgoing materials and verifies the accuracy of work performed.

  • Uses business system for raw material and non-stock receipts.

  • Contacts Buyer/Planner to resolve discrepancies.

  • Enters cycle count results.

  • Executes final shipment confirmation of customer orders.

  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT).

  • Demonstrated ability in the application of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position following established practices and procedures.

  • Receives general instructions on routine assignments and works under supervision.

  • Receives detailed instructions on new work, which is closely supervised and reviewed.

HSE

  • It is required that individuals care for their own safety and wellbeing.

  • Individuals must promote a safe working environment for employees and contractors working in their area of responsibility.

  • The individual must support all Sanofi and site HSE policies as well as ensure that work performed is compliant with local HSE regulations.

  • Individuals must complete all required HSE trainings.

  • Everyone is required to report all accidents and incidents and support investigations in their areas of responsibility.

  • Individuals must ensure timely closure of HSE actions owned by their departments.

Educational Qualification

  • High School Diploma or GED 

Basic Qualifications

  • Forklift (Power Industrial Trucks) experience 3+ years 

  • Valid Driver's License (Able to drive 26ft Reefer truck)

  • English language (Speak and Write)

  • GMP and GXP experience

  • Team worker 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer skills (Word, and Excel)

  • Athena (SAP) 3+ years

  • Pharmaceuticals Warehouse experience 3+ years 

  • Shipping and Receiving experience 3+ years

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Work flexibility (Off shift Hours)
