Responsibilities

Our Team:

The US GenMeds business evolving its Go-To-Market approach and is going through a major digital transformation. Through this transformation we look to evolve our web capabilities while defining Digital standards and capabilities.

The Omnichannel Enablement team is expanding to support the growing needs of our Omnichannel capabilities team.  We are looking for an experienced channel subject matter expert with end to end knowledge from strategy, development, and measurement. Working closely with local brands and our Global Digital/IT partners we are on a journey that drives a more personalize experience for HCP’s and patients that centers around our web sites.

Job Description:

The Website & Digital Enablement Manager will be critical to support our Go-To-Market transformation. The Candidate will lead strategic discussions as well as be responsible for the overall management and run services of our 50+ websites and the managed service partners supporting these sites.  The candidate will also serve as the digital supervisor and liaise with the global digital team and local brand business owners to ensure we operate within the approved framework and ensure all Digital Properties within US Gen Meds are compliant and remain compliant throughout the lifecycle of the property.

This role requires a deep understanding of digital design, web development, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is one who possesses a unique balance of strategic, technical depth and strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of success.  He/she is comfortable working within a large, matrixed organization and has a strong ability to navigate complex business structures. He/she is a detail-obsessed multitasker who knows how to create and manage a project plan, identifying and resolving problems along the way, and keeping multiple stakeholders involved. This person will also have a good mix of business and technical acumen to help shape our digital experience at large scale.

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of website development and the teams supporting the 50+ properties.
  • Frequently audit and optimize SEO and digital marketing performance.
  • Be the integral connection point between web operations teams and IT teams, fostering relationships within those teams
  • Establish strong global partnerships to influence large corporate driven programs, such as re-platforms, digital design systems and standards, and capability enhancements.
  • Lead digital initiatives and maintain strong knowledge of emerging external trends in digital solutions
  • Advise and advocate for appropriate use of digital capabilities and best practices for the benefit of business stakeholders
  • Exhibits strong overall understanding of the digital space, social trends, marketing and the regulatory and legal aspects of digital engagement
  • Collaborate with the Global IT, channel SME’s, and Digital functions to ensure appropriate system architecture, standard platforms and adherence and implementation of the security / privacy strategy
  • Serve as the local Digital Supervisor supporting all audits and ensuring the sites are following the global standards and process flows.
  • Balance a large number of projects of varying degrees of complexity, adjust project schedules when necessary, and meet deadlines and budget restrictions despite changes.

Skills:

  • Strong project manager that thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging digital technologies, strategic direction and technology trends in the life sciences industry
  • Knowledge of Magnolia and/or other CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, or other ticketing and tracking systems
  • Solid understanding of the digital landscape, website strategy, SEO, SEM, Email, Social, digital design, Analytics &Tagging.
  • Excellent influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with key business partners, IT leadership teams, and external service providers.
  • Ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a matrix, complex environment – leading through influence and deep collaboration across the franchise and enterprise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology concepts to facilitate discussion and deeper level of understanding across business functions.
  • Strong relationships with approved vendors and with software supplier of digital services to ensure effective delivery of digital solutions.

Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in managing digital operations in a regulated environment.
  • 3+ years web development experience
  • 3+ years web technologies and CMS’s (Magnolia, AWS)
  • 3+ years of digital marketing techniques and campaign techniques
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Experience in working in a regulated industry. Pharma a plus.
  • Experience managing external vendors.
  • Experience in the strategy with portal sites for multiple brands
