About the Martech Team

At Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, the Martech team is part of a marketing capabilities organization, driving forward our brand presence and engagement through digital solutions. Your Peers will include our CRM and Consumer data practice lead, Digital Data Strategy, and Digital and e-commerce lead for Canada. We are committed to harnessing the latest in digital technology to connect with our audience, delivering exceptional experiences, fostering brand loyalty in the channels, and meeting our consumers’ needs today and tomorrow.

Position Summary

The Web, Social Content, and Community Lead will oversee digital operations at Sanofi Consumer Healthcare will lead the execution of marketing strategies across digital touchpoints for our portfolio of brands in the US and Canada. This role involves leading the day-to-day management of the technology platforms that deliver our owned channels, ensuring they align with and amplify our business objectives and consumer needs. You will also head up the Consumer Care team, which includes social media, being the key point of contact for new and ongoing projects in these areas. You are a cross functional partner when it comes to integrating efforts across Consumer, Shopper and HCP marketing, Insights, and Experience Planning Teams. Your leadership will ensure that our digital initiatives across these platforms are coherent, impactful, and in sync with our omni-channel approach, driving engagement and loyalty in our target markets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and enhance the brand's presence and interaction on owned platforms: Nurture and expand the brand's online community through strategic engagement, content creation, andmonitoring across owned digital assets, ensuring a consistent, positive and impactful brand presence.

  • Marketing Technology Platform Expertise: Assume ownership of the management of marketing technology platforms that power our owned and organic digital channels. Ensure these platforms deliver robust and scalable solutions for content management, consumer interactions, and brand community building. Work with the Global Martech and Digital teams to select and implement new platform capabilities as needed to achieve consumer experience outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing leads, Consumer and HCP marketing teams, Consumer Insights, and Experience Planning teams to ensure that digital strategies on owned channels are well-integrated and aligned with brand strategies. Leverage media plans and content calendars for proactive Martech planning.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead the Consumer Care and Social Media teams, instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven focus.

  • Generative AI Implementation: Leverage cutting-edge Generative AI tools to create dynamic and personalized content across our owned platforms. Utilize AI-driven analytics to understand consumer behavior and preferences, enabling the crafting of highly engaging and relevant brand narratives.

  • Martech AOR Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our Martech Agency of Record, overseeing the relationship and ensuring that all initiatives align with our strategic marketing objectives. Guide the AOR in the deployment of marketing technologies that boost consumer experience and digital engagement.

  • Optimization and Effectiveness: Ensure that the operational aspects of our digital platforms are in supporting our strategic objectives, facilitating effective brand storytelling and consumer engagement.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our digital platforms, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance functionality, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Platform Compliance and Integration: Verify that all marketing technology platforms comply with industry standards for medical, legal, and regulatory affairs. Work to seamlessly integrate these platforms with our broader digital ecosystem for a unified brand experience

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Technology related field.

  • Proven experience in digital marketing or operations with a focus on managing technology platforms in support of owned digital channels.

  • Experience with Magnolia CMS, BazaarVoice, PriceSpider, Revtrav and similar preferred.

  • Successful applied use of Generative AI in Martech executions and Digital Operations

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, consumer engagement tactics, and the technological underpinnings of owned channels.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a track record of driving digital innovation and achieving measurable results.
