Opportunities exist for impending college graduates to join our Site Quality Operations team. The Quality Operations organization provides Quality oversight to all production activities within the Swiftwater manufacturing site. The functions within this department assure that the medicines we produce, and all other associated business and compliance processes, meet all regulatory requirements.
Entry-level positions are currently available in the following areas:
Supporting the Quality Control testing laboratory - by performing the quality checks and/or qualitative and quantitative analyses on incoming materials, manufactured intermediates, and finished products.
Supporting the Incoming Quality Material Release group – by performing the inspection, sampling and disposition of all quality-managed incoming materials.
Supporting the Product Quality Batch Release group – by preparing batch production records and/or by reviewing/approving all quality managed production documentation, rendering disposition to manufactured materials, and the issuance of Certificates of Conformance/Analyses.
Supporting the Aseptic Performance and Monitoring group – by performing airborne particulate data approval, coordinating and/or attending routine shop-floor meetings, and providing guidance and assistance to the site as related to Environmental Monitoring, Traffic and Gowning and Cleaning/ Disinfecting programs and practices.
Supporting the Quality Assurance group – by performing surveillance sampling of classified areas and clean utilities, performing the qualifying training step for routine sampling performed by operations personnel. This position will also provide support and compliance oversite to a variety of Quality processes and programs, primarily auditing, deviation management, and documentation support.
Supporting the Quality Validation group – by participating in project teams involved in process and/or equipment validation actions supporting the manufacture of vaccine products, primarily by reviewing and approving validation studies. Provide advisement on validation lifecycle activities such as Validation Planning, Biotech Process Validation, Equipment and Facility Qualification and Validation Risk Management.
NOTE: Specific roles and responsibilities will be based on an applicant’s knowledge, skills and previous work experiences, and discussed during the final round interviewing process.
Must be an impending bachelor’s degree graduate at an accredited university
3.0/4.0 GPA is a minimum requirement
Must have permanent US work authorization
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Must have proof of current COVID-19 vaccination
Working towards a degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Sciences
Strong interest in Industrial Affairs
Demonstrated leadership skills and the desire and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptability in a changing and challenging environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
