The Senior Sterilization Validation Maintenance (SVM) Technician is responsible for supporting the annual requalification program of Validated and Qualified Sterilization and Depyrogenation systems.
This position reports to and supports the SVM Manager, who is responsible for the validation maintenance program and ensuring ongoing performance of qualified sterilization processes.
Duties include the participation in field testing, protocol executions, and troubleshooting of all site-wide sterilization and depyrogenation equipment in order to maintain a Quality Class A environment in GMP facilities. Additional responsibilities may involve management of test equipment, administration of validation software systems, and lead trainer of associated equipment and sterilization processes.
This position will have interactions with HSE, Engineering, QV, QA, Outside Contractors/Consultants, Industrial Operations and Research & Development departments. The position also supports the site engineering group which is responsible for the cycle development and initial qualifications of sterilization processes and controlled temperature units.
Strong communication skills
Demonstration of organization and/or inventory controls
Ability to set and re-prioritize activities
Knowledge of sterilization, metrology, or other relevant experience
High School or equivalent required
Sterilization Exp Preferred
