Walmart Category Analyst

The Walmart Category Analyst is responsible for assisting in the analysis of sales and inventory data to support and develop category growth of Sanofi CHC products through Walmart’s extensive retail distribution network. The Category Analyst’s role assists the Walmart Category Manager in representing Sanofi CHC to the respective replenishment manager(s) and other Walmart contacts within assigned categories.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Analyze Walmart sales and inventory data for assigned brands
- Work with Walmart Category Manager on Replenishment activities for assigned brands including forecasting future demand and managing inventory levels
- Partnership with their Walmart Category Manager / Director/National Account Manager to perform deep analytics into their assigned brands
- Key contact with Walmart Replenishment Managers for ongoing management of their brands
- Work with internal departments within the assigned brands
- Work with Walmart Category Manager to ensure data accuracy
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Business, Marketing or related field is required. A minimum of one year of experience in an analytical role that involved manipulation, calculation and development of data. Demonstrated analytical aptitude to interpret and prepare findings to others in a business case presentation format. Strong professional verbal and written communication skills. Selected candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. This position is based in Chattanooga, TN and requires the ability to travel two-three weeks annual overnight.
