Position Summary :

The incumbent will support management with reports and analysis required to drive business decisions.He/she/they will be responsible for ensuring serialization/data matrix compliance in Canada and will plan, organize and control activities related to the S&OP including meetings, new launches and purchases for specifics products (inter-company and/or 3rd party manufacturer) while respecting Supply Chain rules and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Respect corporate policies, global standard, HSE policies and departmental procedures.

  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of product serialization, serial number management processes, track and trace regulations, laws and Industry standards.

  • Develop and manage serialization implementation plans to ensure company readiness for serializing commercial products as needed.

  • Partner with other Supply Chain colleagues, Manufacturing, Quality, Information Technology, Trade, and other internal and external resources as needed to problem solve serialization related events.

  • Responsible for S&OP meetings, minutes and processes. Coordinate and analyze forecasts and actual sales and share this information on a monthly basis during the S&OP with product Managers, Forecasting, Marketing and Finance.

  • Ensure short and long-term operational forecasts are aligned.

  • Manage inventories: based on objectives, follow up of suppliers, daily reports, destruction notices, discontinuation & provisions, etc.

  • Performs Supply Chain Demand Planning Analytics to ensure metrics are being met and reports are generated to ensure Global alignment.

  • Provide analytics and data analysis to support supply chain performance goals.

  • Acts as a liaison, interact, facilitate and network between all levels of management, across multiple organizations/functions, both domestic and international, for assigned products to drive supply chain management for products within defined scope.

  • Develop reports to support Supply Chain in decision making.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Respect Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hygiene, Security and Environmental politics (HSE), corporate policies and departmental SOPs.

Key Requirements :

  • University degree in Finance or Operations Management or equivalent experience.

  • Certificate in Materials Management or APICS certification.

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Planning or Inventory Management.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes.

  • Knowledge of commercial packaging operations and distribution.

  • Experience with serialization solutions a plus.

  • Understanding of manufacturing finances and processes and ability to apply to supply chain management.

  • Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements in Canada.

  • Excellent numeric, systems (especially SAPS4 Hana & Kinaxis).

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience in Sales and Operations planning.

  • Data Analysis / Modeling experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Communication and information transferring skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Flexibility.

  • Excel advanced, SAP Hana, Kinaxis, Word, Outlook.

Languages :

  • English : Excellent knowledge.

  • French is an asset.
