Job Summary

The Key Account Director manages and guides the development and implementation of customer focused strategic business plans. The Director cultivates relationships with top level customer contacts to ensure mutually beneficial business results. The Director motivates and develops a team while ensuring cross functional alignment and collaboration. The Director identifies and allocates resources to enable the team to optimize sales growth. The director also leads and manages top to top discussions with key customer executives and Sanofi CHC management. 

Job Responsibilities

Achieve assigned sales quota, develop and achieve new items distribution, merchandising and promotional objectives

Develop and drives customer focused strategies to achieve/exceed objectives and consistently monitors business plan progress and makes adjustments in order to increase the effectiveness of the business plan

Recruits, leads and motivates the team. Develops and trains the team, providing coaching and feedback to build strengths and address development opportunities

Maintains a strong understanding of marketplace trends, retailer landscape and customer strategies. Applies knowledge to coach team, enhance decision making and action plans

To comply with all company policies, instructions, and directions for the fulfillment of the company objectives and to maximize profits from sales

Develops and maintains a high performance culture within the team and consistently refines priorities as needed, and assess progress toward goals, objectives

Customer centricity: Cultivates relationships with key customer decision makers to build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships, while negotiating to further improve the company’s profitable status and driving a mutual growth agenda.

Customer centricity: Builds strong cross functional partnerships internally with departments such as Marketing, Supply chain, Finance etc. to develop specific strategies for the customers to drive joint growth objectives. Coordinate engagement between Sanofi functional leads and customer functional leads to provide a seamless and wholesome service to our customer.  

Customer Promise: Integrates Sanofi CHC customer promise in its day to day interactions i.e. Sustainable and profitable growth, Pragmatic, actionable and shopper centric proposals, driving the category growth and communicating honestly and fairly with our customers

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

· 10 - 15  years’ experience working for a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant experience

· Post-bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (e.g., Masters, MBA or equivalent)

· Area of specialization: MBA 

The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire
