Drive strategy to define a global Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and automation roadmap for the MSAT organization.
Lead the PAT and lab automation projects under the umbrella the global roadmap. These projects will be executed in collaboration with the business teams.
Manage stakeholder engagement for PAT and automation projects.
Establish best practices to manage PAT and lab automation technologies and achieve harmonization across global MSAT and with CMC Dev.
Develop and maintain awareness of the “Lab-of-the-Future” and lab automation technologies and understand their relevance to Sanofi’s needs.
Support lab equipment connection to facilitate automated data capture.
Ph.D. with 2 years industry experience
M.S. with 5 years industry experience.
B.S. with 7 years industry experience.
Competencies/Skills Required for this position:
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry OR Biochemical Engineering, Physical / Analytical Chemistry, Bioengineering may also be considered.
Industry experience in CMC biologics development, biologics manufacturing setting or digital technologies.
Demonstrated experience in PAT technologies such as Raman and online mass spectrometry.
Good transversal understanding in Upstream, Downstream and Analytical techniques with deep expertise in minimum of one of three areas.
Familiarity with lab automation and digital technologies
Prior experience leading global cross-functional project teams and demonstrating project management skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Influencing across various organization levels in other departments.
Ability to forge alliances with vendors and industry peers.
Ability to function independently with minimal active oversight.
Requires working in an industrial laboratory environment.
Domestic and International travel will be required.
