Responsibilities

Sanofi Customer Logistics, Manager, Target/Club/Value Team

Minneapolis MN, Chicago IL Preferred

The Sanofi Manager of Customer Logistics, Target/Club/Value Team is the primary Logistics & Supply chain liaison for the North America Target/Club/Value business.  This role will enable the key supply chain elements of the Target/Club/Value joint business plan. This role is a critical partner to the Target/Club/Value Sales leaders and will help resolve any logistics or supply chain-related issues that impact the results. This individual will develop strong relationships with key Supply Chain, Operations, Buyers, and Logistics Leaders that influence the business. This individual will ensure all supply chain metrics are tracked and improvement plans put in place to correct gaps. You will also build a Customer logistics organization that plays a critical and vital role in delivering the team's objectives.

Your core responsibilities

  • Play a key leadership role with the Target/Club/Value Leaders to deliver against the overall Joint Business Plan and ensure strong integration of logistics solutions/capabilities to grow the business and demonstrate joint value (both in-store and online).
  • Provide data and compelling customer need insights to help Influence and secure Sanofi investment in Logistics Tools and solutions needed to deliver joint Target/Club/Value goals.
  • Build and foster relationships with key Supply Chain, store operations, and merchandising leadership. 
  • Ensure we have robust Logistics scorecards in place that represent mutually defined annual goals and achieve the critical on-time/in-full, on-shelf availability, Cash/Inventory, New item, and Share of display metrics.
  • Ensure forecasting capabilities for the business are delivering expected accuracy results.  Key opportunities identified monthly.
  • Create a culture in which the Customer Logistics resources partner with Sales in business growth
  • Able to anticipate, respond, and resolve Customer, Supply Chain, or Commercial issues for the businesses you own.

These characteristics describe you

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience across multiple areas of the supply chain including direct customer interfaces.  Ideal to have Manufacturing, Order Mgmt. or Transportation experience.
  • A strong leader with demonstrated track-record for delivering results.
  • You are results and data-driven, with a strong ability to use data to deliver key insights.
  • You are a strong self-motivated leader and can manage ambiguous complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to form strong collaborative working relationships across functions/levels.
  • Strong interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • You are known for developing capabilities within your organization.
  • Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • B.A./B.S. required

Who you will work with

  • You will work most closely with key Supply Chain, Operations and Merchandising leadership
  • You report to the Sanofi Senior Director Target/Club/Value and will be a strong partner with the Sales Leaders.
  • You will work closely with Sanofi Supply Chain leaders (Customer Service, Transportation, Display Management, Demand Planning) to ensure Sanofi is effectively and efficiently meeting and exceeding Target/Club/Value Customer needs.
  • You will effectively lead and coach all the Customer Logistics resources on the Target/Club/Value Team and drive standardized tools, measures, and work processes across all the Teams.
