The Breast Cancer Strategy & LCM (Life Cycle Management) Lead will be responsible for maximizing the commercial value of the breast cancer portfolio under the direction of the Global Commercial Head. Responsibilities include informing the evolution of the overall asset strategy; working in close collaboration with clinical development, key global markets and the broader commercial team; and leading the execution of projects in support of the global brand strategy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the commercial input and updates to Target Product Profiles (TPPs) for use by various internal stakeholders including clinical development, pricing and access, and market research

  • Contribute to commercial assessments for key clinical development and organizational milestones such as PoC, PoCC, and Prioritization

  • Work closely with forecasting to develop and manage the portfolio forecasts and value assessments for the product.

  • Own application of key competitor clinical data releases and market events on LCM strategies including potential impact to clinical study designs

  • Own identification of key business questions and application of customer insights

  • Work with MR to address information gaps to inform commercial elements of the TPPs and LCM strategies

  • Proactively identify challenges for brand success and develop mitigation plans

  • Inform launch sequencing with GBT, GMA, and GPM

  • Ensure alignment on projects with cross-functional and regional counterparts

  • Lead and deliver critical annual and monthly updates to our long-range forecast, annual PFR process and support the global commercial head in monthly franchise and governance updates

  • Engage with regions and key markets to understand market-specific needs, dynamics, and how to ensure optimize future launches

  • Maintain and update key launch tracking, market KPIs, supply demands, and long-range forecast

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key affiliates, internal functional groups, business partners, global thought leaders, customers, and professional organizations to assist in timely and successful product launches

  • Assess new business development opportunities in breast cancer and lead the commercial elements of due diligence and valuations, as needed

Additionally, this role will have Life Cycle Management responsibilities to include:

  • Lead co-ordination of the annual brand / operating plan process by shaping the tactical plan and budget Lead the development of the annual strategic and operational plans, working with the key global affiliates and cross-functional stakeholder to ensure key global insights and dynamics are incorporated

  • Provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and agency/vendor partners to identify and implement market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and other key analyses to inform our lifecycle plans

  • Lead the development and planning for key governance committee submissions/presentations

  • Update and provide input into core marketing team to ensure that go-to-market approaches have considered future new indication launch

Basic Qualifications We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing, or science

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or strategic planning experience, with leadership roles in specialty-product launch and lifecycle management

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex elements to ensure strong uptake

  • Experience in development of clear, concise and detailed content for senior executive & governance engagements

  • Experience in implementing commercialization strategies across sales and marketing teams

  • A deep understanding of the Oncology landscape in US, EU and APAC markets

  • Strong, team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate and work effectively at all levels within a matrixed environment

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to set direction, generate commitment, balance short- and long-term needs, constructively resolve issues

  • A passion for healthcare and bringing medicines to market

  • Experience of matrix working and influence at local and global level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Previous consulting/business development experience

  • 5+ years of Oncology marketing experience, ideally within Breast Cancer

Position based in Cambridge, MA

The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire.
