Senior Manager, U.S. Market Research – Dupixent

Job Summary

The Senior Manager of U.S. Market Research will be responsible for day to day management of market research efforts to support the U.S. DUPIXENT Franchise, focusing on future indications in development.  This person will work directly with a team of three other MR team members to support the brand.

This role offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Work on a highly visible, high priority brand

  • Manage market research among HCPs, patients and caregivers

  • Support pipeline indications

  • Partner with multiple brand stakeholders (e.g., brand leadership, consumer marketing, HCP marketing, patient support services)

  • Be a member of a cross-TA US market research team that cultivates a culture of innovation and teamwork

This position reports to the Director of U.S. Market Research for DUPIXENT and will be based in Cambridge, MA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Drive Customer Insights to Support Commercial Teams

    • Conduct market research projects to support the brand strategy, including identification of market research needs, vendor selection, design, execution and interpretation of studies.

    • Manage projects within budgets, schedules and corporate policies and SOPs.

    • Identify and utilize innovative techniques to address business questions.

    • Inform development of market research plans and demonstrate the ability to modify the plan as needs change.

    • Proactively Identify knowledge gaps and recommend approaches to address these needs.

  • Communicate Actionable Insights

    • Develop and refine presentations to effectively communicate complex information clearly and concisely.

    • Translate market research insights and data into actionable recommendations.

  • Effectively Collaborate and Partner Within a Matrix Environment

    • Work closely with brand teams to understand business needs and shape research to address key business questions.

    • Collaborate across functions (i.e. forecasting, analytics, patient services) to deliver integrated insights and recommendations to commercial teams.

    • Demonstrate a solution-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.

    • Work with Global colleagues to ensure alignment and coordination across projects.

Profile and Experience

  • 2+ years of primary market research experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

  • Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative projects.

  • Highly collaborative approach

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrates ability to maintain objectivity and uphold high standards of ethical and intellectual integrity.

  • Proven ability to be both strategic and tactical in your thinking, approaches and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills with a well-developed ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing.

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate complex information.

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and managing multiple demands/priorities from various internal customers.

  • Working knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., prescription and sales data, patient claims data, promotional audits).
