Job overview: The goal for this position is to define synergistic cytokine biology at the single cell level. This will involve a multi-layered approach to investigate the effects of cytokine activation cross-talk in complex human and mouse tissue environments at the single cell level. Results from these experiments will be used to identify pathways activated by multi-cytokine stimulations that may be relevant to human disease pathology and additional investigation into the effects of drug development candidates on these responses.

Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative environment to design and execute experiments involving human cell culture, ex vivo tissue explant cultures, and animal models of disease. Analysis and presentation of data, including multi-dimensional flow cytometry, RNA-sequencing, and single cell RNA-sequencing datasets.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • PhD + 0-3 years of postdoctoral training  in immunology, or related filed, with an emphasis in type 2 disease and/or autoimmunity.
  • The candidate should have experience with the design, implementation, and analysis of flow cytometry and single cell RNA-sequencing assays.
  • Experience with murine models of type 2 disease and/or autoimmunity is preferred.
  • All candidates must have permanent US work authorization. No visa sponsorship will be provided.

Terms of employment: 2 years
