Location: Bridgewater, NJ
The Planning and CoE analyst is responsible for supporting all Sanofi Finance GBUs, functions and activities regarding the management reporting in TM1, forecast consolidation and submissions as well master data integrity management, in accordance with Sanofi procedures, requirements and timelines.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties of the Planning and CoE analyst are:
MDM Data Integrity
Update Controlling MDM in TM1 which information come from SMART (e.g.: Management Center, Legal Entities, Products, P&L lines, HC Category, HC function)
Update Controlling MDM in TM1 which information come from BOOST (e.g.: Analytical Nature, Global projects, Departments)
Update Controlling MDM in TM1 which information come from others financial projects (e.g.: SHIFT)
Update Controlling MDM of HFM or Business Indicators when applicable
Ensure Controlling MDM management, data review, data cleaning and data consistency among the group systems (SAP vs. TM1 and TM1 vs HERA/PLANET/FIRST)
Submit actual figures in TM1 and perform the consistency checks among all the group systems (e.g.: ESSBASE, MARCO)
Perform the Actuals Upload in HFM for personnel costs according to procedures
Prepare and run prepare standard reports (ie. personnel costs per function, headcount) for GBUs and support functions reviews
Analyzes the forecast instructions received from GC&BP, GBUs and GF, ensure understanding and if any local requirement needs to be incorporated in the guidelines/calendar.
Support the Head of the area in building the regional forecast package in line with the Universal Calendar
Set up TM1 system to forecast cycles, run all the consolidations activities and checks required for GBUs/GFs validation
Submission of forecast figures in HFM, Product Forward and other company tools when applicable (e.g. HERA, Planet, FIRST)
Reopen TM1 for further change / submission ensuring full alignment with HFM and Universal Calendar
Prepare and run standard reports (ie. personnel costs per function, headcount) for GBUs and support functions validation before reporting to Corporate
Support the Comparable process ensuring consolidation and reporting on a timely basis
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Engineering required
Master in Finance or Master in Science or MBA or Master in IT will be considered a differential
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
Demonstrate a good track record in FP&A and reporting functions, master data and systems data flows (preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry)
Good finance acumen and knowledge on finance controls
Knowledge of TM1 reporting would be considered an asset
MAJOR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Experience in Controlling functions
Good knowledge of controlling and reporting processes (end to end view) as well as the main tools being used in the Group (SAP, TM1, HFM, etc.)
Analytical, process-oriented with a keen interest to drive continuous improvements
A can-do attitude
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Team spirit, active listening
Honed Interpersonal Skills – ability to network and communicate with various functions
Accountability and Reliability
Internal: COE Hubs, COE User Experience team, GBU FBPs, Retained Finance teams, GC&BP, SBS, Process owners and Project leaders (BOOST, Shift, etc.)
