Responsibilities

Description

The Manager/Sr Manager, Forecasting – Dermatology/Respiratory will be supporting the US Dupixent Forecaster in all forecasting activities, short and long term, for the Dupixent portfolio within Sanofi Genzyme. This person will be an integral strategic partner to the US Dupixent commercial leadership team, as a key component to this role will be providing insights on how opportunities/threats may impact performance and to help guide the short- and long-term strategy of the Dupixent franchise across multiple indications. The position will report to the Director, Forecasting & Analytics – Dermatology/Respiratory at Sanofi Genzyme.

Accountabilities

  • Support US Dupixent forecasting activities and bring key business insights in a proactive manner to leaders within the commercial and finance organization
  • Support creation of objective patient/volume/revenue outlook and work with BU and US Forecaster to support accurate forecasts (Budget, F1/F2, LRP, etc.)
  • Help optimize the Dupixent strategy across all indications (Atopic Dermatitis, Asthma, Nasal Polyps, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, future life cycle indications) and age group line extensions
  • Collaborate with brand teams, new product planning, and business development to define and quantify the impact of market opportunities and threats across the Dupixent portfolio
  • Deliver a monthly Forecasting review deck for commercial and finance leadership
  • Support monthly updates to BUs and leadership – outlook vs. forecast (integrating performance, analytics, market research, CI, etc.)
  • Provide monthly coordination with Supply Chain – near/long term outlook to help ensure appropriate resources remain available
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Market Research and regional leadership to ensure information and insights are being cascaded throughout the commercial organizations and supporting functions
  • Consolidate and summarize data for ad hoc analysis, e.g. ROI analysis on new tactics and spend
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of variances to ensure data accuracy


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within Pharmaceutical Analytics/Operations/Forecasting, is required
  • Knowledge of secondary data sources (e.g. IQVIA, SP data, etc.)
  • Knowledge of US Payer/Heath Insurance environment
  • Strong proven leadership, analytical and communication skills required
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, filtering, vlookup and macros)
  • Ability to self-manage time and to meet deadlines
  • Possess very strong strategic awareness skill set
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners
  • Ability to understand and influence decisions of senior management
  • Detailed and structured thought process
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in the organization
  • Promotes a good working relationship with supervisors, co-workers and staff
  • Proactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree
  • 2+ years of Consulting Experience
  • Experience in Specialty Care
  • Experience with analytical programming languages (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python)
