Responsibilities

The Global Market Research Director, Oncology will lead the Market Research team for Global oncology and develop market and customer insights, thanks to primary and secondary market research and provide analytics expertise to contribute to business decisions. Key outcomes include:

  • Identify potential sources of growth through market overview & performance, decision making process, patient flow & journey analyses

  • Develop customer segmentation and persona to support customer prioritization

  • Generate & champion 360°actionable insights to drive targeted customer behavior changes (from patients, HCPs or payers)

  • Through co-creation, pre-testing & testing, enhance positioning statement, branded/unbranded communication materials or services per targeted persona

  • Monitor brand performance and customer experience & engagement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage and develop Market Research Team for Global Oncology.

  • Manage Budget channeling resources to the most impactful actions.

  • Work with Countries and Global franchise to align on key priorities for the market research effort, re-evaluating and adjusting as needed.

  • Master best in class CMI methodologies and provides methodological expertise, recommending  the most appropriate CMI methodologies to address business needs.

  • Manage efficiently the end-to-end CMI project execution and process in line with Sanofi. compliance requirements (PV, procurement, Legal, Medical, Transparency, etc.). Involve appropriately the right internal and external stakeholders.

  • Synthetize multiple data sources to answer key business strategic and tactical questions and identify insight gaps. Propose effective solutions to address them.

  • Ensure generating actionable insights is the foundation of strategic and tactical tangible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life sciences, Business, or related discipline with 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 5 years of primary market research experience.

  • Experience leading a small market research team.

  • Experience in the field of Oncology.

  • Previous experience in marketing or in a transversal role involving participation to strategic and operational brand planning.

  • Vendor management.

  • Market research experience on vendor side.

  • Self-starter, proactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree, PhD or MBA preferred

  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop individuals.

  • Experience with Global pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA Midas, IPSOS, Kantar, Syndicated data sources among others).

  • Good knowledge of the Multiple Myeloma Landscape.
