Who You Are:
SANOFI, NORTH AMERICA is looking for a customer focused, solutions oriented individual to educate Healthcare Professionals and their staffs on the coverage, coding, billing, and reimbursement for Sanofi vaccines. The vaccine reimbursement specialist will be a problem solver and, based on their experience in physician office and clinic settings, be able to credibly engage with Healthcare Professionals and their office staffs on accurate coding practices for vaccines and vaccine administration.
The Reimbursement Specialist will be an essential member of the Market Access Team that works to ensure patient access to Sanofi vaccines. The Advisor will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to improve coding and billing practices and will contribute to the development of resources to improve accuracy in coding for vaccines and vaccine administration. The Reimbursement Specialist will be a be a key contributor to the Field Reimbursement Team’s customer engagement strategies.
Responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding coding, billing, and reimbursement for Sanofi vaccines
Conducts inquiries with payers to determine reimbursement for existing and launch products
Maps reimbursement trends for Sanofi vaccines
Collaborates with Field Reimbursement Team in creation of customer reports
Less than 10 % travel time for conferences and meetings
3-5 years of work experience in a primary care practice setting or a healthcare billing company
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with medical office staff and impact change
Understanding of CPT and ICD 10 coding, coding certification a plus
Basic understanding of Microsoft office tools
