Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Associate Manager of Trade Analytics will be responsible for supporting all aspects of trade funds allocation process and the optimization of all trade funds’ management system, TradePro.  This position will support and develop trade finance analytics reports and insights creation.  Additionally, this role will support the development and communication of all brands’ trade plans.  This role requires collaboration across multiple functional areas including: Sales Leadership, Field Sales, Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Sales Development. Customer Support and external agencies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute and support trade budget management and trade platform management, TradePro and execute and manage the trade allocation process
  • Manage the TradePro balance and operating processes to ensure accuracy and be the lead interface for Field Sales users, including trouble shooting and training
  • Develop system analytic reports and scorecards for effective management and communication
  • Coordinate analytic needs to establish promotional best practices and sharing
  • Collaborate and provide analytic insights which support the development of trade spend standards and guidelines including timely post event and driving continuous improvement initiatives for trade promotion effectiveness
  • Contribute in the development and communication of current and forward year Trade Plans and support the Trade Plan development and communication process
  • Complete analytic evaluations which support and establish promotional pricing guidelines for optimal effectiveness and financial sustainability

  • Support the Sales Quota and Sales Standing process
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of sales, marketing, sales development or finance experience.  The candidate must have strong functional technical skills strong aptitude for process management and strong communication and influencing skills.

  • Professional Skills:  Highly motivated worker/thinker and team-oriented. Strong organization and analytic skills as well as attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to inform and develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Role Specific Competencies:   Strong communication skills.  Capacity to lead and influence at senior levels.  Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting results & drawing conclusions.  Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives. This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business: expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Access.

  • Special Requirements: This position requires the ability to travel (10%).
