Responsibilities

    Sanofi Genzyme, the specialty care business unit of Sanofi, focuses on rare diseases, multiple sclerosis, oncology, and immunology. We help people with debilitating and complex conditions that are often difficult to diagnose and treat. Our approach is shaped by our experience developing highly specialized treatments and forging close relationships with physician and patient communities. We are dedicated to discovering and advancing new therapies, providing hope to patients and their families around the world.

    The Franchise is in hyper-growth mode with multiple launches across the Globe (age extension, new indications & future Respiratory assets) in various diseases (Asthma, Nasal Polyposis, COPD) and is one of the main driver of the Group growth.

    Reporting to the Finance Head, Global Dupixent and Regeneron Alliance, you will be the Finance Lead for the Global Respiratory Franchise, which includes direct Leadership of all financial matters for the Global Commercial Organization and coordination throughout the entire P&L and Value Chain (Research & Development, Industrial & Supply and Commercial) for the Global Therapeutic Areas (TA).

    Member of the Global Brand Team, the Finance BP is also highly involved in the Alliance management with Regeneron.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Finance voice of the Global Franchise and effectively interacts with the Countries, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and R&D, while supporting the Head of the Franchise and the Dermatology Leadership team

      • Countries/Regions (Strategy Plans, Business Cases, Performance reviews, Quarterly landing)

      • Industrial Affairs/ Supply Chain (COGS evolution, Inventory Management, Volumes analysis)

      • R&D (Portfolio Review, Integrated P&Ls)

    • Responsible for the Franchise Global Controlling & Reporting Process including P&L, Headcount and Investments and Resource Allocation during the monthly closing, investor relations, forecast, budget and strategic planning processes. Work closely with the CoE to improve ways of working and foster efficiencies.

    • Launch Excellence Finance Support for Dupixent : throughout the launches, provide financial expertise and support on launch preparation, governance, and launch execution monitoring. Analyze financial performance by Regions & Indications to support resources allocation decisions. Work closely with the Market Access & Pricing, Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence teams to understand the external environment evolution and the corresponding financial impacts.

    • Lead the Global Strategic Planning Process for the Therapeutic Areas including key investments (External Partners, Infrastructure, Commercial Operations, RD&/IA Interface) and Lead Interaction with the Sanofi Group Strategy, the PFR team and Finance Leadership Team.

    • Monitor the performance versus the external consensus and support the Investor Relations team to prepare the key highlights for the quarterly earning calls.

    • Prepare and present strategic investment projects and analysis required by Sanofi Group and Sanofi Genzyme Leadership team, and be the Finance representative of the TA for Strategic projects. Actively support the New Product Planning and/or BD teams on the pipeline assets financial analysis.

    • Active participation in the Alliance with Regeneron for Dupixent related matters.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is Required

    • Master’s Degree in Finance or the Sciences is preferred

    • MBA is Preferred

    • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance with direct experience within a Finance Business Partnering role(s) is required

    • Selected candidate will have demonstrated ability to interact with senior level stakeholders as well as project operational level and externally with key partners

    • This position may require up to 10% overall business travel

    Major Skills and Competencies:

    • Ability to work transversally and in a matrix

    • Ability to understand and challenge commercial, R&D, industrial and alliances P&L

    • Ability to model P&L on a 3/5 years’ time period

    • Finance business development skills: NPV, deals valuation

    • Global or international experience and ability to work with a diverse team
