Role will provide insight-driven modeling and recommendations for the Pricing and Contracting teams within the US Market Access function. This position will work closely with Pricing, Contract Development, Account Management, Finance, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Marketing and Channel Strategy teams.
• Support Gross to Net modeling for in-line and new product launches and assist in achievement of financial goals
• Develop bottoms up models for in-line and new product launches based on secondary and contract data
• Work closely with brand forecasting and finance to achieve alignment of market access and GTN assumptions for all forecasting cycles
• Identify demand and rebate risks to the business; quantify and communicate these risks
• Manage or support appropriate market access research and analytic projects to guide market access and pricing decisions
• Identify key performance indicators and develop dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with other groups in strategic pricing and contracting along with other functions within USMA and outside including account management, channel strategy, market research, legal, forecasting, finance
• Leverage current system and data assets and participate in identifying potential additional needs
• Ad-hoc analyses and special projects as requested.
Excellent analytical skills including management of secondary and contract data
Knowledge of pharmaceutical business and market access
Working knowledge of the US healthcare system and reimbursement environment
Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills
Ability to manage timelines, and lead project teams
Auditable accuracy in work product
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong PC skills including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access
Proficiency in TM1, Cognos, forecasting applications (e.g. Forecast Pro or ForecastX) preferred
Ability to travel to key meetings and conventions as needed
BA or BS Degree (mathematics based preferred, e.g. Economics, Finance, Statistics)
MBA or math/analytic based MS/MA preferred
7+ Years Pharmaceutical experience with emphasis in financial modeling and market access analysis preferred
