Responsibilities
Summary of Purpose/Responsibilities
The Customer Supply Chain Manager is the primary supply chain planning and eCommerce supply chain strategic thought leader for the Walmart sales team. This role will lead the key supply chain elements of the joint business plan and will have a direct and vital impact on driving innovation and scale for an assigned business while significantly broadening the awareness, trial potential, and efficiency for Walmart eCommerce. This role is a critical partner to the Walmart NAMs and will personally develop strong relationships with the supply chain, operations, and logistics leaders at Walmart. The customer supply chain organization will play a critical role in helping the customer teams in delivering against their shared goals and objectives.
The Customer Supply Chain Manager – Walmart has the following objectives:
Play a key leadership role with the Walmart sales and eCommerce team to deliver against the overall Joint Business Plan and ensure strong integration of logistics solutions/capabilities to grow the business and create value, both in-store and on-line
Build and foster relationships with replenishment, store operations and ecommerce supply chain at Walmart
Establish and manage robust ecommerce supply chain scorecards that represent mutually defined annual goals and achieve the critical on-time/in-full, on-shelf availability, cash/inventory, as well as other key metrics
Deliver Walmart required reporting across store and ecommerce businesses
Maintain regular views of key KPI’s and ensure accuracy of item-level data
Ensure forecasting capabilities for the business are delivering expected accuracy results and key opportunities identified monthly
Create a culture in which the customer supply chain resources partner with sales to drive sustainable growth at Walmart
Anticipate and resolve customer, supply chain or commercial issues for Walmart
Qualifications
B.A. / B.S. degree required
Experience
3 - 5 years of experience across multiple areas of the supply chain, including roles involving direct customer interactions
Supply / demand planning experience preferred
Skills/Knowledge
A demonstrated track-record for delivering results, developing capabilities, exceeding goals and is recognized as an expert in delivering breakthrough and innovative solutions
Ability to develop organizational capabilities while influencing others
Lead and inspire others when facing highly ambiguous, complex situations
Eager to improve oneself, the immediate team, and the greater community
Extremely organized, detail oriented, dependable, and self-motivated in a fast paced environment
Utilizes effective, professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external colleagues; displays flexibility in your approach to people and situation
Software Skills: Proficiency with MS office required, advanced Excel, Microsoft Power BI helpful but not required; SAP experience helpful. Experience in Retail Link and 3rd Party Data Software are not required, but helpful.
Ability to understand decisions and changes within e2e Walmart ecommerce supply chain and to convert strategy into results
