Responsibilities

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Manufacturing System & Operational Excellence Analyst - VIE Contract (W/M)

The role of the Allston Sanofi Manufacturing System/Operational Excellence (SMS/OpEx) organization is to drive Allston performance and drive the realization of Allston strategy, while contributing to the performance of the Sanofi Biologics Network. “Performance” is defined as Allston’s demonstrated ability to achieve and improve upon Network-defined objectives for critical operational processes.

The primary focus of the team is:

  • Deploying the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) to drive operational and business process improvements
  • Leading site strategy deployment to align site priorities and drive organizational results
  • Leading Operational Excellence initiatives to deliver Site priorities
  • Being a passionate advocate for continuous improvement and the Lean tools and methodologies

Key responsibilities:

  • Deploying and/or refreshing SMS Lean Management Standards such as 5S, Gemba Problem Solving, Strategy Cascading, Skills Matrix, +QDCI (safety, quality, delivery, costs and involvement), Process Confirmation and Obeya
  • Creating tool kits to ensure a harmonized and efficient rollout of Standards
  • Leading 5S sessions to improve workplace organization as well as process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Performing regular Gembas walks to evaluate effectiveness of SMS standards deployment and identify improvement opportunities  
  • Chartering and leading/monitoring initiatives to drive the improvement of key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Supporting the development and execution of Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP) to drive continual improvement and project execution
  • Supporting the development and execution of SMS training
  • Contributing to the creation and revision of SMS Standards

Candidate's profile:

  • Education: Master degree in Business Management, Organization or Operation Management or Engineering degree
  • Experience: previous experience in lean management, manufacturing, project management or industrial design
  • Soft skills: partnering mindset and ability to communicate clearly and openly with members of various departments; attention to details and respect of timeline; result-based mindset; ability to understand the needs of internal customers; compliance & ethics mindset
  • IT tools: MS Office (spreadsheets knowledge, Excel required)
  • Languages: fluent English
