The incumbent is responsible for developing plans, executing projects and initiatives that support the broader short and long-term marketing strategy for the Cosmetics product portfolio, NeoStrata and Cliniderm. The Brand Manager collaborates with Sales, Operation, Finance and R&D to ensure the brand remains relevant to consumers and that all initiatives support the brand promise.

Key Responsibilities :

·Leads brand planning process by developing the annual marketing plan and budget to achieve volume, profit and investment objectives.

·Aids in managing brand P&L’s and determines resource allocations across the brand to optimize overall brand performance and ROI.

·Participates actively in the creative development process including: television, print, digital and social mediums.

·Drives consumer understanding and insights that defines the brand prime target needs, attitudes and values in order for consumers to have stronger and more impactful brand experiences.

·Conducts monthly Nielsen / POS analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competition, category and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.

·Manages, analyzes and interprets monthly sales, investment, and consumption data and utilizes sales forecasting process to adequately manage inventories

·Primary responsibility for brand (A&P) and Trade spend budgets

·Develops strong & strategic annual trade plans to support new product launches, promotions and ensures perfect execution by the sales team

·Effectively builds and manages internal relationships with sales to maximize brand growth

Supervisory responsibility: Trade Marketing Specialist


·University Degree in Business/Marketing. MBA will be considered as an asset

·A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand management, preferably in Cosmetics or Beauty industry

Must have extensive first-hand experience with and knowledge of;


·Consumer and trade promotions

·Being results oriented and creative; possess strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, comfortable with numbers and have entrepreneurial leanings

·Excellent communication and presentation skills

·Good negotiation skills

·Solid computer skills (Excel, Nielsen, PowerPoint )

·High Proficiency in French and English

·Excellent verbal and written skills.
